Currently making my way through this series, and really digging it.
Derek Raymond (1931-1994) was the pseudonym of English crime-writer Robin Cook. Raymond was born wealthy (attended Eton - “a hotbed of buggery”), but grew disdainful of his upper-class background and became a criminal, and then later, a writer.
