1. From La Doublure:

I’ve really been feeling Alan Parsons Project’s Eye in the Sky. The 2nd Cleaners From Venus, On Any Normal Monday, is a charming lo-fi pop pleaser. Do you like Terry Allen? I had a Rick Roberts-era Burrito Bros cd many a year ago.

Ixnay on the APP, right now, though I will check it later. CFV sound intriguing. I only know the name, not the music. I plan on picking up the Captured Tracks reissues of The Wake, maybe I’ll check that too.

You must know that 3rd Burrito’s LP, Daniel. So smooth.

Do not know Terry Allen. The country guy?

    From Every Great Song Ever:

If you can’t get the Kendricks, maybe you can find Johnny Bristol’s Hang on in There Baby.

I will check that one out! Thanks.

So anyway I was out on my bike this morning and saw a record fair going on at a church. Truthfully, I can’t stand those things  but I went in anyway, looked around quick and came out with the first Crazy Horse and Pentangle LPs and an Ember/Specialty soul compilation called “Soul from the Vaults” (I love good comps) for very cheap, so my itch has been scratched (a bit, I still want those other previously mentioned records).

Thanks for the recs on recs, fellow tumblrs.
