Went to the Ariel Pink show last night. Watched a bit of Pearl Harbor (dig the LP, but the show wasn’t very good, s’ok though, I still like ‘em) and then went downstairs for a few drinks with K, Tom of Drawn & Quarterly and Robert Dayton, who’s in town for the weekend. The conversation was so enjoyable (mostly about John Stanley) we missed almost the entire Pink set....

I turned down some CDs a woman brought in to sell. I told her they were too scratched. She got a little huffy about it, popped one of the CDs out of it’s case and held it about two inches from my eyes. It was, admittedly, in good shape.

…because now I want to watch a movie where a priest flies in a really ugly little girl’s window and gradually makes her pretty again.
anyone know how I can watch a movie backwards?
I’ve seen Jaws hundreds of times, but now I want to watch a movie where a giant shark forms out of mid air and then goes around regurgitating people. People get so panicked they decide to run backwards into the water to cool off and it’ll all end with a nice beach party. Seems like a nice summer movie to me.
